Our Story

Providing Value with a Fundamentally Different Process

VentureGroup started in 1992 with a unique approach to providing value to both its partner agents and its vendors. We saw that carrier/vendor systems and processes were designed for the direct sales team and a pooled environment that lacked visibility and efficient implementation of orders. Our solution was to centralize, to have everything come through us to the extent possible, to make it easier for both agents and vendors to work together.

At VentureGroup, our value lies in how we provide a customized approach that allows our partners to focus on presenting an easy to discuss concept – reducing costs and improving productivity, without mentioning specific vendors or even migrating services. This concept of selling is far easier to use to get a discussion going with your customer.

We will do a great deal of discovery and optimization work to allow you to prove to a customer your value. Partnering with us will provide a path to selling to large and enterprise level customers not found elsewhere, which will yield a higher penetration rate per customer opportunity. You will spend much less time and effort generating commissionable revenue opportunities. We have unique systems, personnel, and channel support to help you obtain more business. Our model produces results that are a win for your customers, your business, and our vendors, which lowers customer’s costs, improves their productivity, reduces implementation issues, customer complaints, and churn.

Additionally, we are unique in the industry in offering a shared savings approach that allows an agent to talk to a customer about saving money with their current vendors, while making money on those savings. This opens the door to getting access to the information necessary to also talk to the customer about migration opportunities as an option. All of this is done with us doing the majority of the work for you, all from mostly large and enterprise-level customers that would have been difficult to approach or close sales for without what we can provide you.

Other distribution partners often provide introductions to vendors as their main value proposition. You must learn their products, engage with the vendor’s personnel, obtain quotes, sell to the customer, and manage any provisioning coordination. We call this process selling the sales code.

Our process is fundamentally different. We believe our agents and vendors benefit the most when, VentureGroup takes on the majority of the work involved in quoting, ordering, and implementation, as well as by helping you with solution design and inventory discovery. Because we have developed automated AI-based systems that can help us map out the inventory and solutions that optimize a customer’s services, we are able to do this efficiently, without you having to do all of this on your own.
